Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) – Free child-sized reflective vests are now available to pick up at three police stations in Henrico County while supplies last.
These vests are part of Henrico County’s WOAH! – which stands for “Watch Out Ahead Henrico!” – public awareness campaign, which focuses on increasing pedestrian and cyclist safety.
“WOAH! was created to have our community members say that very phrase,” officials said on the county’s website. “Staying alert and aware of your surroundings is what makes the difference in preventing these types of crashes.”
Child-sized WOAH! reflective vests are now available at the following police stations while supplies last:
• Henrico County Public Safety Building, located at 7721 E. Parham Road• Henrico Police Central Station, located at 7850 Villa Park Drive• Henrico Police South Station, located at 561 Eastpark Court
