Free yoga returns to Staten Island beaches this summer: What you need to know [Video]

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Improve your mental, physical, and spiritual health and mark your calendars for upcoming dates for free yoga on the beach, sponsored by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis.

The congresswoman has announced the return of the popular yoga program, which was reinstated in 2023 after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2024 limited run of the five sessions will take place on June 22 at 9 a.m., July 10 at 7 p.m., July 20 at 9 a.m., and Aug. 7 at 7 p.m., and Aug 15 at 9 a.m.

“I’m excited for the return of yoga on the beach and thank Karen Torrone and 5 Boro Power Yoga for partnering with me once again,” said Rep. Malliotakis. “It’s relaxing, fun, and good for both physical and mental health.
