Fundraiser being organized to support family of Amanda Parker [Video]

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Friends and former co-workers of one of the victims in a triple-murder in rural Linn County are organizing a fundraiser to benefit the family.

Luke Truesdell is accused of killing three people and trying to kill a fourth person on Wednesday. Prosecutors charged him with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

First responders found Romondus Cooper, Keonna Ryan, and Amanda Parkerdead in an out building on the 3600 block of East Otter Road on Wednesday. A fourth person, Brent Brown, is in the hospital in critical condition. Investigators say it appears Truesdell beat the victims with a metal pipe. The Linn County Attorney tells TV9 they’re still investigating how he and the victims are connected, but they do not believe this was random.
