SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A fundraiser has been created for the family of a 16-year-old girl who suffered fatal injuries in an ATV accident near Garretson.
According to the page, Alivia Christensen was involved in a fatal ATV crash on Sunday afternoon.
As of Wednesday morning, the page had raised just over $3,800 of its $15,000 goal.
The organizers of the page describe Alivia as “a beautiful soul” who “loved to get her hands dirty.” She enjoyed being in a team setting and making others smile.

The Garretson School District offered counseling to students on Tuesday, but Superintendent Guy Johnson said those who could not make Tuesday work can call the office to schedule a time to meet.
