Leitchfield, Ky. (WBKO) – A driver is uninjured after being rescued from a burning vehicle by a Grayson County deputy.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a burning vehicle just outside Leitchfield late Tuesday night, according to a GCSO news release.
Upon arrival, the deputies found a vehicle “nearly fully involved” in flames, and an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat. The driver was reportedly unrestrained and appeared to be in a “dazed state of mind,” refusing to exit the vehicle after coaxing by witnesses.
The man was pulled out of the car by Deputy Thomas Lane with the assistance of a witness. Aside from a few scrapes and scratches, the man suffered no injuries.
