Gun-wielding robber holds up restaurant… but is taken down by quick-thinking diners [Video]

An armed robber tried to hold up a restaurant in Colombia before he was taken down by the quick-thinking diners.

The thief in the motorcycle helmet casually strolled up towards a table of six people enjoying a meal in Medellin and pulled out a gun.

He pointed the weapon at the back of one diner’s head before another customer brandished his firearm and fired several bullets at him.

The robber was struck and fell to the floor where he rolled around in severe pain as the diner turned his attention to another suspected robber on a motorcycle. He fired more bullets at the second thief who went to ground and crawled behind a car. 

It is unclear when the incident occurred but a video of the ordeal was shared on X in April where it has been viewed more than 20,000 times.
