HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is now a designated meetup spot for those exchanging items purchased online in the community.

The addition of the designated meet-up spot allows for safer exchanges when buying and selling items online.

These items will be tax-free during Florida’s Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday

In a partnership with OfferUp, the platform designed to help users buy and sell in their local communities, all five district offices will operate as a community meet-up spot.
