Heart Ball Hosted by American Heart Association – Erie News Now [Video]

Ball gowns and bow ties, certainly not a combination, you may think of in a ball park, but that’s how people were dressed at UPMC Park for the American Heart Association’s 2024 Heart Ball on Saturday night.

The theme was Swing for the Stars, as supporters, sponsors and survivors came together for healthy hearts.

They were celebrating the Heart Association’s 100 years of transforming heart disease and stroke death rates.

The Lewis family of Red Letter Hospitality chaired the event, which was outdoors at the ballpark for the first time ever, with drinks, live music, and a silent auction.

Senior Director Gina Kloftt said the Heart Ball makes a difference, that difference is personal for one little girl honored. Nine year-old Tessa Scavella was a special honoree.
