Heat advisory issued for 5 N.J. counties for Friday and Saturday [Video]

A heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:20 p.m. valid from Friday noon until Saturday 8 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.

The weather service states, “Heat index values of 95 to 100 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” states the weather service.
