Hilltop Ski Area’s Sink or Skim Pond Skim competition brought together costumed daredevils on Saturday to skim across a manmade pond in style!

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is on the ground offering relief to people who continue to suffer from November’s deadly landslide. The Nov. 20 landslide killed five people as one remains missing. Among homes destroyed, 62 were impacted altogether.

The revised ordinance would limit encampments to no more than 50 tents or structures. It would also create a no camping zone that extends a quarter mile from established shelters. That means camps like the one at Third and Ingra, wouldn’t be allowed.
