Hospice of the Western Reserve Hosts annual Walk to Remember at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Hospice of the Western Reserve will hold its annual Walk to Remember fundraiser on Sunday, June 9 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

The registration fee of $30 includes all-day admission to the Zoo and Rainforest and a commemorative Walk to Remember keepsake. Money raised will be used to support services that Medicare/Medicaid does not cover, including bereavement support, pediatric care and veterans’ programs.

The Walk has raised more than $1.85 million since its inception in 2012.

Participants can expect to stroll through the scenic paths of Zoo, stopping at various stations along the way where there will be opportunities to connect and engage with others who have lost loved ones.

Wristbands required for admission will be distributed at registration on walk day beginning at 7:30 a.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the walk kicking off at 9 a.m. Registration will close at 11 …
