Hugh Grant has confirmed some upsetting news for Bridget Jones fans as he opened up about the upcoming fourth movie. 

The actor, 63, portrayed hunky lothario Daniel Cleaver in the first two hit films, 2001′s Bridget Jones’s Diary and 2004′s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, alongside co-star Renee Zellweger.

Hugh decided not to return for the 2016′s Bridget Jones’s Baby causing his character to be written out by being killed off in a plane crash, however a newspaper headline teased at the end that he was actually found alive.

The Notting Hill star has revealed the new film, which is set to hit Peacock for Valentine’s Day in 2025, is going to be the ‘best one’ yet and has already moved him to ‘tears’.
