I-95 in Branford closed after serious crash [Video]

BRANFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – The highway was closed in Branford early on Tuesday morning due to a serious crash.

It occurred at 3:15 a.m. and involved a tractor-trailer and another vehicle.

State police have requested an accident reconstruction team to respond to the scene.

It’s not yet known how many people were injured during the collision.

Traffic is being diverted off the highway at exit 53.

No further information is available, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
