Immediate evacuation ordered for residents of Ruidoso [Video]

A severe weather cell that is causing flash flooding has prompted emergency evacuation orders from the village’s emergency management department.A social media posting by the Ruidoso Office of Emergency Management has ordered residents of the Upper Canyon and Midtown district to move to higher ground without delay and without gathering any belongings.A shelter is available at White Mountain Relief Center at 687 Hull Road. For those unable to get to the White Mountain center, the Horton Complex Gymnasium at 134 Reese Dr. is also available.This is a developing story.
