Mumbai Indians star batter Suryakuar Yadav has made a return to competitive cricket in the franchise’s last match against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL 2024 season after missing the first three months of action due to injury.

The attacking batter underwent a sports hernia surgery in December that required months of rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He missed the first three matches for Mumbai Indians after a delay in getting medical clearance from the NCA.
