QUALIFIED toolmaker Kelyn Cassidy is confident he has the right equipment to secure Olympic qualification.
The Waterford man fell short of booking his place in the Paris Games at last year’s European Games and a qualification tournament in March.
But he is one of the Irish boxers who will get a last chance at another qualifier in Bangkok next month. There are three spots on offer in his 80kg division.
And the 26-year-old — who joined the boxing high-performance unit after completing a toolmaking apprenticeship — insists he is fully recovered from the hand injury he suffered last time out.
