Kansas City Chiefs re-sign two Super Bowl winners who were set to be unemployed as NFL team exercise contract clause [Video]

THE Kansas City Chiefs have brought back yet more familiar faces as they chase the elusive Super Bowl three-peat.

Ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft, the Chiefs have continued to reshape their roster with the re-signings of both guard Mike Caliendo and safety Nazeeh Johnson as exclusive rights free agents.

An undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky, Caliendo first signed with Kansas City in 2022.

The guard spent his rookie season on the practice squad, winning his first Super Bowl ring in the process, before returning in 2023.

Caliendo went on to make eight appearances for the Chiefs last season, while also suiting up in all four postseason games, including Super Bowl LVIII.
