Kate Garraway has opened up about her grief and healing, seven months on from her husband Derek Draper’s death.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 57, revealed in January this year that her husband of 19 years had died at age 56 after a lengthy and difficult three-year battle with complications related to Covid-19.
A few months later Kate revealed she was at ‘the beginning of grief’ and was facing ‘many ups and downs’ but was doing her best to focus on their two children, Darcey, 18, and Billy, 14.
Speaking at the ASA Foundation’s ball, Kate said that she was slowly coming out of her grieving state but revealed that she was ‘barely holding it together’.
