Keystone ChalleNGe Academy graduates first class of cadets in 2024 [Video]

ANNVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) — The first class of cadets this year graduated from the Keystone ChalleNGe Academy Saturday.

Forty-two cadets completed the 22-week program.

It helps at-risk teens get a second chance to earn their education.

Cadets took part in multiple community service events.

“It’s incredibly special to me to see how much support we have,” Steven Secr, Keystone Challenge Academy, said. “We almost ran out of chairs here at graduation because we have so many connections, so many community members who are here to support them.”

The cadets now enter a one-year mentorship phase of the program, all while continuing their education.
