Variety unveiled the cover to its Actors on Actors issue featuring Ryan Murphy favorites Kim Kardashian and Chloë Sevigny on Monday, and the reaction online was absolutely blistering.

The Instagram comments were filled to the brim with people outraged over the inclusion of the 43-year-old reality star alongside established thespians like Jodie Foster, Robert Downey Jr., Naomi Watts, Quinta Brunson, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Andrew Scott.

‘The fact that ya’ll even used Kim K. tells us how desperate you are for clicks and how much disdain and disrespect you have for the craft,’ Instagram user @actherstudios wrote.

‘What an insult to the many trained, hardworking actors who DO THE REAL WORK! To say this is shameful is an understatement.’
