Last minute preps underway in Rockport [Video]

SAN ANTONIO — Sunday morning it is all about the final preparations in Rockport. Many businesses are closing or closed in town. The most important, police say, the 24/7 ER of Rockport and Portland have closed. Visitors, residents with medical & special needs, and residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas are under order to evacuate. Medical and emergency services may become limited or unavailable based on storm intensity.

Many here in the town of Rockport spent the day boarding up their windows and doors. We saw plenty of trucks with plywood while driving into town yesterday. Of course people were filling up their cars with gas, and from what we could tell there was no shortage of gas.
