Law enforcement agencies team up for joint training in Marathon Co. [Video]

TOWN OF EASTON, Wis. (WSAW) – Multiple agencies joined together for some specialized training about 15 minutes east of downtown Wausau in the town of Easton on Wednesday.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office joined the county SWAT, bomb squad, and Tactical Communications Team to practice collaboration and communication. The three teams converged to train for large-scale incidents.

Sometimes law enforcement needs to breech a door or enter a building in an emergency. It doesn’t happen often, but they need to be prepared for when it does.

“We never want a situation to arise where we have to utilize all three teams at once, but we all know that possibility does exist,” Lt.
