Hall said harm minimisation did not just apply to the individual player.

“Harms are not just to the individual. Harms are to the team as well, the community itself. So if I think about harm reduction in an absolute holistic sense, and absolutely we have a responsibility for young people and to understand drug-related harms.

“And absolutely we have a responsibility to the community to young people to understand drug related harms … we need to be part of that social responsibility to the community.

“Harms to me are reputational, are social harms, there’s definitely a role for us to play.
