(WFSB) – You might’ve noticed more motorcycle riders on the streets in recent weeks as the weather has taken a turn for the better.

Over the past two years, Connecticut has reached grim, historical numbers in motorcyclist deaths.

May was motorcycle awareness month, and for a good reason. This is the time when the covers come off and helmets go on.

On the roads, motorcycles can be easy to miss, so Eyewitness News talked to some veteran riders about their experience and advice on how to share the roads.
