LEE GRACE wants plenty of spartan spirit from Shamrock Rovers in Thessaloniki tonight — so PAOK can be put through the Hoops next week.

The Hoops defender is back fighting fit following a truncated season with injury.

And the Carrick-on-Suir man, 31, is focused on frustrating the Greek champions in their Europa League play-off first leg tonight.

Grace said: “We obviously know we have the Conference League secured at this stage.

“But we want to set our sights on the Europa League. You want to take yourself to the highest level you can.

“Tonight is the start of that opportunity and hopefully come next Thursday we have something to play for and give it a lash back in Tallaght.”
