Lets go to class: An inside look at the first year of Briar Cliff Universitys Occupational Therapy program [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Occupational Therapy is a healthcare profession that helps people return to doing things they love.

Three students at Briar Cliff are currently at the end of their first year in the new Briar Cliff University Occupational Therapy program.

Mary Wiles, First-Year OT Program Student finished a final presentation for one of her Spring 2024 courses for her first year of the program the last full week of April. She is one of three students in the program for the first year.

Wiles said, “Right now we’ve just learned all the foundational science courses, we’ve just started kind of getting into how we treat patients. So the interventions, how we decide what they need, and all the measurements that we take.”
