LGBTQIA+ radio station to launch in Corpus Christi [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Pride Corpus Christi announced the launch of a new radio station set to hit air waves in South Texas this summer. 

‘UNITY’ will be a progressive radio station channel that features LGBTQIA+ community voices as part of an initiative to further create visibility and reduce barriers for queer Texans in the Coastal Bend. 

The station is expected to air its first broadcast in June and will also be available on streaming platforms. 

While a specific launch date is yet to be determined, Pride Corpus Christi says their goal for the month of June is to hit an initial roll out and continue the station’s development in an ongoing nature over time.
