A Terrebonne Parish man accused in a heinous child abuse case that spanned several states was denied a bond Wednesday morning. Terrence Washington was in court in connection with an attempted homicide and torture of a Thibodaux teenager. Washington is accused of raping and burning the child of his girlfriend, LaTonya Harris. He faces charges of two counts of attempted first-degree murder, second-degree cruelty to a juvenile, obstruction of justice, molestation of a juvenile, three counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and five counts of second-degree rape.
