#LoveLikeBubba: Community members honor mans life by sponsoring dog adoption fees [Video]

POSEY CO., Ind. (WFIE) – People who knew and loved Wayne ‘Bubba’ Frisby are finding a unique way to honor his life following a deadly car accident two weeks ago.

Frisby crashed on East Blackford Road back on March 21st just after 7 a.m. and would eventually die from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

“The 19 years we were together, were the best years of my life,” Laura Frisby, Bubba’s wife said.

Laura says once she got the call that Bubba had been in an accident, she rushed to the hospital.

“When I got there, they put me in a quiet room, so I immediately thought that was bad news,” Frisby said. “I had hoped that he could pull through, you know, there was hope still.”

Laura says Bubba’s injuries were profound according to the doctor. She had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to her …
