Lucas County Fatherhood Coalition hosts FATHERhood Week [Video]

LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — The Lucas County Fatherhood Coalition is gathering fathers in the community for a week of events in honor of Father’s Day.

There will be everyday events, leading up to Sunday, aimed at spreading general awareness about the struggles and challenges of being a father while offering education and support to dads and their families.

The mission is to give a voice to low-income urban fathers.

These events will include local organizations that are partnering with Lucas County. In addition, guest speakers will be there to share their experiences about the hardships they have went through while being a father.
