Man dead after farming accident in Vernon County [Video]

KICKAPOO, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A man is dead after a farming accident in Vernon County. The sheriff’s office says, on Monday (6/24/24), deputies were notified of an injury accident involving a tractor rollover.

The incident happened on a logging road on private property in the town of Kickapoo. 65-year-old Jimmy Kennedy, of Wind Lake, had been operating a medium-sized garden tractor when it overturned, lodging him underneath. Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Vernon County Coroner’s Office.
