Man dies Monday morning in North Austin shooting [Video]

AUSTIN, Texas — A man in his 40s is dead after a homicide early Monday morning in North Austin. 

At approximately 3:57 a.m. May 20, responders with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) arrived to the scene of a shooting on the 13000 block of Amarillo Ave near McNeil Drive. 

TSCO officials found a man with gunshot wounds, and they worked to revive him until members of the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) arrived on scene. 

The victim reportedly died in the parking lot and no arrests were made at the time of the incident. 

Law enforcement officials are currently working to investigate to determine the suspect and any additional details regarding the homicide.
