Man in his 30s dies in apparent workplace accident at Yatala on the Gold Coast [Video]

A man has died in an apparent early morning workplace accident on the Gold Coast.

The man in his 30s suffered fatal injuries at the business on Darlington Dr in Yatala about 2.45am on Tuesday.

Paramedics could not save him and he was declared dead at the scene.

How the accident unfolded is unknown, with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland investigating.

A truck at the front entrance of the business was taped off by police.

Investigators were also putting focus towards a gate at the entrance of the premises.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
