Mesa asks residents for input in street safety survey [Video]

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Mesa is looking to make its roads safer for residents and visitors, and a public survey aims to listen to your concerns and ideas.

City of Mesa officials are asking for the public’s input for their Comprehensive Road Safety Action Plan.

“On average, four people are tragically killed or seriously injured on Mesa’s roadways every week,” Supervising Engineer Sabine King said. “These crashes are avoidable, and this Action Plan will be a crucial step forward in achieving our goal of a 30% reduction in fatalities and serious injuries by 2030.”

The City is asking the public to fill out an online survey and mark areas where they feel the most unsafe on a map.
