Metro Police re-launch DUI Strike Team to prevent fatal collisions [Video]

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials say they’re seeing more fatal crashes on the roadway this year than last, and they’re hoping the return of their DUI prevention team will help curb this trend.

Before his death, Tony Hsieh helped jumpstart the development of Fremont East. In the years that have followed, that drive to develop has continued.

Police say that a man arrested for reportedly firing over 100 gunshots near a Henderson condominium complex was on cocaine, claimed he was being robbed by armed men and jumped from a second-floor residence.

The victim spoke out as Las Vegas police search for the suspect.
