Dr Michael Mosley may have taken a rest just a few yards away from the safety of a restaurant before he died, an autopsy has found.
A report by a Greek coroner shows the 67-year-old may have rested his hand on the terrace before collapsing, newspaper Proto Thema reports.
Initially it was believed Dr Mosley may have suffered a heavy fall in 37C heat while he was hiking on the Greek island of Symi, the Sun reported.
The autopsy reportedly shows the broadcaster did not sustain any injuries that indicate criminal activity.
The report added that the condition of the human remains has made it difficult to uncover the doctor’s exact cause of death.
