Missouri 11-year-old killed in ATV accident [Video]

REYNOLDS COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) – A child driving an ATV in Reynolds County, Mo., died on Sunday morning when the vehicle overturned on him.

The Reynold’s County Sheriff’s Department responded to a private property on Highway J in Oates, Mo.

According to reports a 2021 Yamaha Viking reversed onto a mound of gravel and overturned. The vehicle then came to rest on top of the driver.

Washington County paramedic Jamie Lalumondiere pronounced the driver deceased at 11:26 a.m. The driver was transported by the Reynolds County Coroner to the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington, Mo.

The victim, a resident of Black, Mo., has not been identified.

This is the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G’s fifth fatality in 2024, compared to 11 at this time in 2023.
