GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – More than 2,500 volunteers were placed around the city to participate in the United Way’s Hands On Greenville on Saturday.
The community helped make improvements at more than 40 of the partners that United Way funds and serves.
Volunteers from Fox Carolina and First Palmetto Bank helped spruce up the outside and inside of Brutontown Community Center in Greenville.
Hands On Greenville has become an annual event that many employers and civic groups look forward to participating in.
To wrap up the day, United Way hosted an after-party for volunteers at Fluor Field right.
