Morgan Wallen could be facing 6 years in prison. Heres why he wont be in court on Friday [Video]

The ball is set to begin rolling for Morgan Wallen regarding his legal issues in Nashville with a court date set for Friday morning.

The country music star won’t be in the building when it goes down, though, according to multiple reports.

“The court has formally waived Morgan Wallen’s appearance on Friday, May 3 as his presence is not required to advance the case,” his lawyer, Worrick Robinson, told US Weekly. “The Office of the District Attorney has been notified of the Appearance Waiver.”

Robinson is slated to be at the appearance, of course.

Wallen, one of country music’s brightest stars, is reportedly facing three felony charges following an incident at fellow country music star Eric Church’s bar.

Nashville police say they were standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Broadway when a chair fell from the roof, six stories above, and landed just feet away from them.
