When Ryan’s* wife of seven years lost her father after a brief illness, their sex life changed – but not in the way you might think.

The pair are in their late thirties, and after 12 years together they are ‘perpetually tired parents’.

After having children, his wife’s ‘libido plummeted’ and it ‘was a strain’ on their relationship for a few years.

But with the loss of Ryan’s father-in-law, his wife’s sex drive seemed to return.
