New information released on 2 deadly crashes [Video]

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office has released new information about two separate accidents that happened about the same Wednesday morning.Coroner Greg Shore said the first accident happened about 5 a.m. on Brown Road near Twin Lakes Drive. He identified the driver of the bike as Nicholas Brett Dowis, 43, of Anderson, who died at the scene.South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said Dowis’ 2022 Honda moped was heading west on Brown Road when it struck the 2022 Jeep SUV that was turning onto Brown Road from a stop sign on Twin Lakes Drive. Shore said Dowis was not wearing a helmet.The cause of the accidental death was blunt force trauma, according to Shore.Troopers said the driver of the Jeep was not injured.The second collision also happened about 5 a.m. off of East Greenville Street near McLees Road in Anderson, Shore said.That’s near the Sonic Drive-In.Quintarius Tyshaun Holloway, 22, of Anderson, died …
