NY weather: Essex County under a heat advisory Monday and Tuesday [Video]

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory at 2:32 p.m. on Sunday valid from Monday noon until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Essex County.

The weather service adds, “Heat index values up to 98 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” states the weather service.
