The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory at 3:59 p.m. on Saturday in effect until Sunday at 8 p.m. for Nassau County.
The weather service states, “Heat index values up to 98 degrees.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” adds the weather service.
