NYPD: Motorcyclist in stable condition after crash on Staten Island [Video]

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A motorcyclist is in stable condition following a crash in Meiers Corners Sunday night, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

A man believed to be in his 30s was riding a motorcycle when he was struck from behind by another vehicle at the intersection of Mountainview and North Gannon avenues around 6:20 p.m., said the spokesperson.

The victim was transported to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and there have been no arrests, police said.

No further information was available and the investigation remains ongoing.
