Oakmont Fire burns an estimated 100 acres, forces evacuations in Timberon [Video]

Mandatory evacuations have been ordered in Timberon as a result of the Oakmont Fire. The fire was initially discovered just before 12:30 pm on Friday.The Tularosa Basin Regional Dispatch Authority says residents of Sacramento Drive and Paradise Valley Drive are under mandatory evacuation. All roads in and out of Timberon are restricted until further notice.According to New Mexico State Forestry, the fire has burned an estimated 100 acres, with zero percent containment.
