ODOT plans to add roundabout on state Route 315 in Liberty Township to help alleviate traffic congestion [Video]

OHIO, USA — The Ohio Department of Transportation is looking for public comment on their Jewett Road intersection safety improvements project.

ODOT said they plan to build a small roundabout at the intersection of state Route 315 and Jewett Road.

Neighbors in the area said the intersection is always busy and sometimes dangerous.

“Especially if you are trying to turn left down [Jewett Road] it’s almost impossible. People always have to let you out because there’s always traffic both ways and it’s busy all the time,” said Greg Williams, who lives close to the intersection. 

“We go left out of Jewett Road onto 315 daily, a couple times a day and it can be actually kind of scary,” said Diane Satterfield, who regularly travels on state Route 315.
