One person dies in accident at Loop 410 and Highway 281, officials say [Video]

SAN ANTONIO — One person had died in an accident on the northeast side of San Antonio Monday afternoon, officials said. 

The incident took place at the off ramp from Loop 410 to Highway 281 around 12:30 p.m. Monday.

The San Antonio Fire Department said one person was killed in the accident, but no other injuries were reported. SAFD did not say what led up to the crash. 

Some lanes of the highway were closed as crews worked to clear the accident. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes.
