Operation BBQ Relief feeds North Texans affected by power outages [Video]

RICHARDSON, Texas — Operation BBQ Relief, a nonprofit organization that delivers food to disaster-stricken communities, spent the last few days in North Texas — feeding those who were affected by the damaging storms.

On Thursday, the organization arrived in Richardson, where they worked to give out 1,850 meals to those impacted by power outages across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. 

They set up shop at Network of Community Ministries and gave out barbecue until they completely ran out. 

On Tuesday, hundreds of thousands of Oncor customers woke up without power. As of Saturday, many are still in the dark in Denton, Collin, Tarrant and Dallas counties.
