Oprah Winfrey found herself in the emergency room this week, according to multiple reports, but her fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
That’s because, per USA Today, Winfrey was treated for a case of gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis, according to the Cleveland Clinic, is a digestive infection cased by inflammation in the stomach and intestines.
Winfrey’s friend and co-host on “CBS Mornings,” spoke about the illness on Tuesday morning.
“She had some kind of stomach thing — stomach flu — stuff was coming out of both ends,” King said.
