Oroville Hospital launches new residency program to bring more psychiatric care | News [Video]

The hospital said the program will create more jobs in nursing and service which includes people who will answer the phones and run this program.

OROVILLE, Calif. – The Oroville Hospital is launching a new residency program to bring more psychiatric care to people in Northern California.

This means that as soon as July of next year, six new doctors will be training at the hospital, and they will be able to provide more mental health services to you. The psychiatric residency program will train new mental health workers as they graduate from medical school.

The program will start with six doctors. Every year after that, the hospital will add six more. So within the next four years, the hospital anticipates having 24 psychiatric doctors in training.
